Olakunle Olujimi Osuntokun was born on 7th Nov 1954 to Chief & Mrs. Oduola Osuntokun of Okemesi Ekiti. Oduola Osuntokun is a direct descendant of Dada Osuntokun who was a General of Fabunmi of Okemesi who pleaded with Dada a war hero of Ajase Ipo in present day Kwara State to move his troops to support the war effort. He was a major player in the Kiriji war and Yoruba Civil wars. Mabel Adetola was the daughter of Bishop Michael Adeniyi Osanyin, the first Anglican Bishop of Ekiti Anglican Diocese.
Kunle commenced his education at Ayodele Nursery School in Iyaganku GRA Ibadan in 1957 and then proceeded to United Missionary College Primary School in Oke Ado Ibadan. He was admitted into Christ School Ado Ekiti in Jan 1967. He proceeded to Igbobi College in Lagos for his HSC for a short stint as he was offered admission into University of Ibadan Jos Campus. He however almost immediately moved to Central State University Wilberforce Ohio from where he proceeded to the prestigious Jones Business College in Jacksonville Florida
He returned to Nigeria in June 1983 with a BBA and MBA and was offered employment at Hasmab Airconditioners the Nigerian arm of Andrews Airconditioners of North America as a Senior Sales Executive.
In June 1986 he joined First Bank of Nigeria Plc and remained there till Dec 2011 before retiring as a Regional Manager. While in FBN he was instrumental in designing a new business model while serving as a counterpart staff with Arthur Andersen Consulting on the Century II Project. He undertook various professional and developmental courses numbering over sixty in the course of his banking career. The courses covered Stock Replacement Facility, Documentary Bills, Commercial Papers Intermediation, Equipment Leasing, Loan Syndication, Foreign Exchange/Letters of Credit, Parallel Market intervention, Marine Insurance, Marketing Strategy Formulation, and Augusto Credit Series, to mention a few.
He is currently the Chairman/ CEO of Sozopee International Ltd, Chairman, Kulkit Ventures Ltd., and Director, Rasede Ventures Ltd.
