Tayo Douglas, Esq hails from Akunu-Akoko in Ondo State. He attended Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife where bagged his LL.M (Masters degree) in Law. He was called to the Nigerian Bar over 30 years ago and subsequently enrolled at the Supreme Court of Nigeria as Solicitor & Advocate.
He has in the course of his career as Legal Practitioner appeared before every courts and tribunal established under the laws of the federation of Nigeria. He is an expert on international law and his core area is on Renewable Energy and Sustainable Development Laws, Aviation and Communication Laws, Immigration & Boundary laws and Election Petition Advocacy among others. He has in the annals of his legal careers written many papers and made some publications on various aspects of law.
He is happily married to Mrs.Yetunde Douglas and the said marriage is to the glory of God blessed with children. He is a Notary Public and Principal partner in the chambers of Messrs.Tayo Douglas & Co. He loves swimming and he is also a member of the prestigious Lagos Country Club.
